In the market of smartphones, there are two giants, Samsung Galaxy and iPhone. But they are about to get serious competition.
The Chinese company Huawei officially announced the launching dates of their new smartphone, "the fastest in the class and the thinnest in the world".
The new Huawei's smartphone, Ascend P1 (on Android 4.0) from May will be available in Hong Kong, Australia and Taiwan, from June in Latin America andfrom summer in Europe.
"Ascend P1 is a combination of smart and sexy design options and represents a significant milestone for Huawei Device," said Richard Yu, president of the company.
Ascend P1 has a 4.3-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, TI OMAP 4460processor of 1.5GHz and a background camera of 8-megapixel.
The phone is advertised as the slimmest smartphone in the world with 6.68 mm thickness.
