Andrew E. Rubin is a technology pioneer, co-founder and former CEO of both Danger Inc. and Android Inc. He is currently Senior Vice President of Mobile at Google, where he oversees development of Android.
Few days ago there were some speculations that Andy will leave the company, but he simply denied this on his Twitter profile and gave one important information about Android devices.
"No plans to leave Google. Oh, and just for meme completeness -- there are over 900,000 android devices activated each day :-)", Andy said.
In February there were 850.000.
Android community is growing, and will grow even faster when the Nexus 7 (official Google tablet) will hit the markets at the end of June. I will post something about this in the next few days.
