Forbes magazine tells the story of Lei Lei Jun, Chinese billionaire who considers himself as the new Steve Jobs.
Besides the jeans and black T-shirt, which was a combination of clothing that Steve Jobs always used, Jun is also founder, Chairman and CEO of a successful company.
The company name is Xiaomi, which specializes in selling Android smartphones and it operates with great success.
When the model MI-One went on sale last fall, it had about 300,000 pre-orders for the first 34 hours. This device is based on the concept of powerful hardware at low cost. So far, the device is sold in 3 million copies.
Jun said that Jobs is his inspiration, but expressly denied that he is copying his style.
In the interview for Forbes he says that if Jobs lived in China he could have not succeeded. “Jobs was a scrupulous perfectionist, while Chinese culture emphasizes the middle path.”
He is 43 years old, the age when Jobs made his first billion. Xiaomi plans to break into the international market.
