October 15, 2017, Oak Bay, British Columbia, Canada Imbue App launches a Kickstarter campaign giving backers 1-year membership subscription for a minimum pledge of CA$19. Imbue App’s Kickstarter campaign targets $20,000 by Oct. 20.
The Imbue App sets to launch in late October 2017. The goal of the iOS app is to preserve family memories. It uses machine learning from the Google Cloud Vision API to identify items. Stories and memories are then permanently connected to the items, in the cloud. Founder Keith Wells says that his idea is to provide a long-term solution.
“The concept is something that if people are taking the time to store their memories in a secure way, they’re trusting us to take care of those memories so this isn’t a fly by night thing. We’re trying to find long-term storage solutions for people”.
This secure app allows users to organize and share stories about special items like treasures you have collected over the years, special gifts, clothes or jewelry in your family.
“We clearly believe that this app will preserve family values and precious moments. Apps that preserve sentimental moments and stories from the past are rare. Our Kickstarter campaign will help us finish the design and development, and of course, it will give backers lots of benefits and discounts.”
The backers will get 1-year membership subscription for a minimum pledge of CA$19 and offerings of the imbue app at 30-50% off of the actual app prices coming this fall. The backers will also get the app before traditional distribution begins.
The Kickstarter campaign finishes on 20 October.
